Hot & Sparkling - War Collection

Hello readers! Here is a peek at the amazing fashion for Hot & Sparkling's new War collection! It was an amazing show with lovely models and top quality designs. I will try my best to convey the event and outfits but really, you had to be there! But fear not because you can pick up these great designs at H&S and be a fashionista even if you missed the show. Each model was well pulled together and showcased the outfit with grace and style. Applause roared through the room as each model walked down the cat walk.

I also took a few photos of the show itself, though they don't do the models or outfits justice. The show had a great turn out, seats filled with Hot & Sparkling fans. Three lucky guests even received the whole War collection as a gift for coming to the event; how astounding is that! Generous, fashionable and lots of fun; there is never a dull moment at Hot & Sparkling. The War collection shows this with its bold designs, sharp edges and eye catching colors.

The models did a wonderful job during the show. So many eyes focusing on the amazing outfits, one small mistake could ruin it all! But not these models, top quality all the way. The War collection is full of amazing statement pieces, all eyes will be on you no matter which outfit you decide to get; or pick up the whole collection! And don't forget to keep an eye out for more amazing fashion shows by Hot & Sparkling.

Hot & Sparkling Cover Model April 2011

Even though the last contest is still fresh in our mind and our last winner still has a place in our hearts, a new beauty has been crowned and must take the spotlight. QueenBrat Bracken won the April cover model contest for Hot & Sparkling after a grueling fashion show. When she saw the casting call it interested her and the stories about our past winners also gave her hope. Reading about the adventure past cover models have gone through inspired QueenBrat to enter and strive to win herself.

Preparing for the contest was of course a time intensive project. Despite not knowing if she could win, QueenBrat made sure to work hard and try her best for the show. Picking the right outfits and poses, all in hopes of wowing the judges and audience; and that she did! Her efforts paid off because she was a true vision of beauty, even though the competition was high she managed to come out on top.

Every name that was called out before hers only made her more and more excited but at the same time anxious. Had she even placed? Was her work for naught? It was only when Nicki called her name that her dreams were realized and the spotlight shown just on her. So many fabulous models entered and worked very hard but it's a fun an exciting experience, win or lose.

But QueenBrat Bracken won and of course she is thrilled to be featured in articles, magazines and doing photo shoots. Not only that her closet is also happy as she received wonderful outfits from Hot & Sparkling, perhaps even that special gown that will one day aid her in winning another fashion show! Make sure to keep an eye out for special feature video as well!

Over all it was a challenge, but a fun one. The thrill of styling, competing and meeting new people. QueenBrat is grateful she entered and to all who helped her win, a truly gracious winner. A beautiful and happy model who had fun; what more can we ask for?

Ms. H&S March 2011

They say April showers bring May flowers but the rain isn't falling on Vicky Yongbo. She has beaten the odds to become the Ms. H&S, now it only rains victory! Corny, perhaps but still the truth. Eye witness account from this very blogger can attest to her grace and beauty. And yet, shockingly enough, Vicky is still a student in training. She happened upon the contest during a search and decided to give it a shot. Lucky for her and us that she did! Despite being new to the model world she won the crown.

This was Vicky's time to shine. She works on Second Life as a photographer and wedding planner but this contest was for her, to step out into the spot light and show what she has learned so far in her modeling career. But so early on as a model, she didn't think she could win. The competition was steep, top models and veterans stood in her way. However she gave it her all and managed to come out on top!

All that practice paid off when Nicki called her name. Hard work and dedication can go along way, pay attention new models! Vicky is an inspiration that anything is possible. She was of course over joyed to be announced as the winner and of course is looking forward to the press she will receive; a great boast a modeling career.

Vicky holds a special place in her heart for Aislin Jinx who helped her prepare for the contest. The two worked on styling and making everything just right so that Vicky could knock our socks off. What a great friend and aid! Such a great experience to have, an exciting contest and a thrilling victory. Congratulations Vicky and thank you for being with Hot & Sparkling!
